With our family-friendly Skiff Building Program as the main focus, we also offer classes in Joinery, Lofting and Timberframing. Located near the University of Rhode Island's campus on Narragansett Bay, South Ferry Wooden Boats offers a wide range of instructional woodworking classes. The diversity of our experienced instructors creates a nearly unlimited list of workshop topics on boatbuilding and traditional woodworking and can be tailored as interest permits.

Our Woodworking Instruction can be used to upgrade skills in preparation for higher education, personal interests or just 'the fun of it'.
